Apart from developing the phones, Samsung also manufactures one of the best displays available in the market. Users like these display panels hence other smartphone manufactures prefer Samsung’s display for their flagship and mid-range series smartphones.

Apple has been implementing Samsung’s displays in its recent year iPhones. As per the latest reports from Digitimes, It has been confirmed that Samsung has received around 80 per cent of the display panel orders from Apple for its upcoming iPhone 12 Series smartphones. Samsung has been providing displays to Apple since iPhone X. The screen on the iPhone X was loved by many, and that might be the reason why Apple is going all-in for Samsung.

If we go by recent leaks, Apple is expected to launch around 4 iPhones this year, Which might be named as iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The three iPhones, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max are expected to have Samsung’s latest and advanced display panels specifically designed for iPhones. The rest 20% displays will be produced by LG Display and BOE for regular iPhone 12.

Well talking about the display size, the base iPhone 12 will have a 5.4 inch Super Retina OLED display, The next model iPhone 12 Max will feature a 6.1 inch display. The pro models that are iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro max will have 6.1 inch and 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR Displays with ProMotion technology respectively. We are hoping that Apple might offer 120 Hz display panels for Pro Models just like the iPad Pro.

Apple might launch the upcoming iPhones in the first week of September. COVID 19 situation will not affect launch event, but it might change the iPhone shipping dates. Apart from iPhones, Apple is expected to launch Apple Studio On-Ear Wireless headsets and Apple Watch 6 at this event.
