Currently, the 108 Megapixel and 64 Megapixel sensors are the preferred camera sensors by the flagship phone manufacturers. But Unlike other flagships in the market, OnePlus has a very different approach with its quad-camera sensors. Out of this four sensors on the back, the first sensor is a 48 megapixel Sony IMX689 Sensor, The second sensor is an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, Third is 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.2, The last one is a 5-megapixel sensor its a photochrom filter sensor.
The photochromic filter sensor is responsible for this X-Ray like effect. Using this sensor users can see through some thin plastic materials. Android PIT team did some small investigation on this new feature, and it was concluded that this camera could see through lightweight cloth material as well only in perfect light conditions. This filter can detect circuitry of various gadgets made out of thin plastic casings.
It doesn’t let you see through the clothes of people walking on the street. So stop your pervert thoughts and enjoy this new feature in your lockdown time.
