Today at an event in New Delhi, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched two devices. A smartphone and a tablet, That are Honor 5C and Honor T1 respectively.  Both the devices are official now on HiHonor.com and from on 30th June it will be exclusively available on Flipkart.

Talking about the Unibody Metallic Smartphone, The Honor 5C, sports a 5.2-inches full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 424ppi. The internal hardware the device runs on Huawei’s in-house chipset HiSilicon Kirin 650 (64-bit, 16nm) which is clocked at Quad core 2.0GHz Cortex A53 + Quad Core 1.7 GHz Cortex A53, Along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Honor 5C sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It also sports an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. Honor 5C features a Fingerprint Identification 2.0 with 0.5 seconds unlocking speed. The fingerprint is situated below the rear camera.

According to Honor, the fingerprint is added with a new technology called “Replay Protected Memory Block (RPMB) technology ” which ensures that fingerprint data cannot be accessed, even if the phone is rooted.

The phone is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery which is non-removable and supports Huawei’s Smart Power 3.0 power saving technology. The phone comes with a widely used Micro-USB port. The phone is Powered by EMUI 4.1 (based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow) with a wide range of useful features. It also included Scrolling screenshot feature which lets you take screenshots longer than one screen.

The phone supports dual sim (4G+4G). Connectivity options like GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi are available. The phone is available in Golden, Grey & Silver color variants.

On the other hand, Honor has also launched its T1 7.0 tab at the same event. In the appearance part the tablet sports a metallic body. The tab sports a 7-inch WSVGA IPS display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels.

It runs on Spreadtrum SC7731G Quad-Core chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz, with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, memory is expandable up to 32 GB. The battery is 4100 mAh and it supports 2G/3G voice-calling and data as well.

It is priced at Rs. 6,999. The tablet will be exclusively available on Flipkart as open sale from on 22nd June.
