As the launch of the iPhone 12 is nearing, at least as per tentative launch dates, more details about iPhone 12 are being revealed. This time the reveal is about the screen refresh rate and also body thickness.

Apple has planned to release four variants of their upcoming flagship models and among which two of them are premium variants. The premium variants include the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

As per reports, both of the models would get a 120Hz screen refresh rate, which would be highest on any flagship phone. The lower variants of the iPhone would get a refresh rate of 60Hz, which is also a screen refresh rate of OnePlus and many other phones.

As per a prominent tipster, Apple iPhone is the list of phones in 2020, having a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. There are also few more phones to the list, such as the Huawei Mate 40, which is going to be launched almost the same time along with iPhone 12. Other phone models such as Asus ROG phone 2, OnePlus 8 Pro, Oppo Find X2, and Oppo Find X2 Pro are also in the list of upcoming 120HZ refresh rates.

As per insider information, the iPhone 12 series phones would get thinner bodies compared to the iPhone 11 generation phones. iPhone 12 Pro Max would have a 6.7-inch screen and with a thickness of 7.4mm, which is thinner than the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which is 8.1mm.

Anyhow, decreased body thickness did not decrease the battery size, and Apple is expected to bring in 4,400 mAh battery, which is a little bigger than that of iPhone 11 Pro Max. Also, there would be no headphones packed along with the iPhone 12. This is to increase the sales of Apple AirPods instead of traditional Apple headphones.
